Eighteen years ago on this date, if we were alive and at an age of understanding… we remember. We remember exactly what we were doing and where we were when the shock of this tragedy was heard over the United States and around the world.

Some of us still can’t believe that this event is now recorded in history books. Something that seemed like it just happened yesterday.

For our kids, it is indeed history. Luckily, there are already helpful tools to help explain this tragedy in a way kids understand and also provides an avenue for us as parents to dig deeper into our reality surrounding this important event.

Check out this week’s BrainPop video here. This might help your kids or some kids you know understand a bit more about this day to remember.
